Skinar: With our current scanners we won't beable to penetrate very far into the nebula once we enter into it Commander, so visual will be limited, and we have to be careful in here, so I suggest that we drop our engine speed once we enter into the clouds so we don't ram into anything unexpected or damage the ship. Commander: There might be something hidden in these gas clouds so keep searching. Array 1 of 3 + If you have upgraded to the improved scanner. 1. There is a jumpgate here somewhere, we just have to look around for it. 2. Commander: There should be a gate not far from here. Keep looking. 3. Commander: Keep searching until we find the alien gate the scan picked up on. Up (You hit a gas pocket. We should leave 12. I almost feel like a packrat being stuck in between these rocks 13. Let's be careful in this place, its dangerous. 14. Skinar, be careful with the ship aruond here. 15. Let's not crash the ship into anymore of these rocks 16. This region of gas pockets is deadly. 17. We need to upgrade the shields to avoid smashing into these pockets. |
+ If you don't have the improved scanner installment.
Skinar: Ooops Sorry Commander, but the scanners are not showing up anything about there being concentrated pockets of gas around this area. _ If you have the improved scanner Skinner will say these lines: Skinar: Warning Commander, there are many gas pockets in this area. They are volatile and they will damage the ship's shields if we continue to run into them. I maybe the best pilot but even the best have their limits in volatile gas pocket fields. its suicide to try to fly the ship through here without the proper shielding. |
Herc Commander: All this trouble makes no sense, if we upgraded and prepared the ship BEFORE entering into this nebula, we wouldn't be in the trouble we are encountering now, oh its no use the commander won't listen to reason. Skynar: Drat I just hit another one of those gas pockets, without good sensors commander, I cannot see where they are located so i can't plot a course to avoid them if I don't know where they are. My suggestion would be to see if we can upgrade ship scanners to locate where these pockets are. We will have to back out the way we came. I do not advise we continue on. |
Jacobs: Take the computer seriously Commander, getting the shields replaced might be the better option to go. These echo. existing shields may not be salvageable for much longer. I'm just warning you that we have trouble ahead and it echo. could trigger off a warp core breach if we don't replace these shields.
