Skynar: Nobody told you about the pickpockets in Scalen did they. You run into them in the North side of the city. They have steel cuffs. They draw items out of your pockets, so you have to try to dodge them. Once you get through you are safe until you have to go back through them again. That's the only way you can get to the central city area. You have to

Skynar: Remember if you hand them anytime, they will take it and run their RND's to pick your pockets. Storm wants to Speak to You (Speak to Storm) (Mini Conversation) Storm: You could always try to install in a mini turret to your inventory window and then those pickpockets will soon learn not to help themselves into our inventory. Commander: What? You think Installing in a mini-turret security system into our inventory window will stop the pickpockets like with the tight security on the banks on Drumalov that are like an old festering boot will work? Hmmm. Well we do need to stop the pick pockets from taking all our inventory items. I think we should just try to keep our distance from them for now. But my worst worry is that if I level up I just hope the pickpockets don't upgrade themselves and extend their hands out so unfairly like James Pond from a far distance or my worst nightmares with my inventory window will come true on this planet. Nothing will be safe from their reach... Nosey Nella Parkas: Well there's always the Doctor's Friendly Forget me not Probes. Like the one that popped up on you when you walked up in the sick bay up to her appointment desk. You remember while poor Holgas had transported himself to another dimension. Loana: Holgas was still in the sickbay, he hadn't transported himself to another dimension, he lost gravity in his shield suit and was floating helplessly upside down in the air. Nosey Nella Parkas: Oh yeah I remember now, you're right. I don't think Janice Worse For Wear has got any suggestions, Commander. She says there are no anomalies in the area that's causing this.. Commander: Friendly? The Besian Forget Me not Security Probes? Nella, what planet are you on. I will not install in a Besian Security Probe in our Window Inventory System. When we on Abort Genesis Research Station that Probe just suddenly popped up out of the planet's model when we stepped towards the console area to load in the next level. It just popped out of the planet mesh like a jack in a box and scared the life out of poor Rex. He was still shaking like a leaf. He hid behind Cronis's shielding for several level ups after that. He thought the invasion on the planet had already started. And if we did install in that probe what if we wanted to get something out from the windows inventory?. Does the probe stay friendly to us and is only hostile to enemies flags or what. Storm: That's why they are called Forget Me not Probes. You won't easily forget them.... It looks like Rex needs to get some more courage, he needs to stop hiding behind our shields when hes being attacked.. . Hes making a bad habit of it.. Commander: the probes attack anything that gets near them. I don't know why the doctor put one of them in her sick bay or how she got it to be friendly to her and hostile to everybody else. I stayed away from the sick bay area. Commander: Storm, what planet is your head at. That's no good to have the Probe attacking all of the party members or me when going into the windows inventory to get the items we need. The Doctor told me that the reason why I got attacked by her probe is because she forgot to set a friendly flag on it with my mesh. She even has security cameras in the sick bay and even that wasn't enough for the Doctor to feel safe. So she brought in the Besian Security Probe. She even has a big oversized tranquilizer gun sitting in the back room to deal with germs that get out of hand in her sickbay. Storm: Yeah the ship's doctor is a little weird. Erm...i have no more answers for you Commander. Loana: This is just typical of Storm. Always coming up with hostile solutions to dealing with hostile aliens. Commander: Normally stepping on the Console next to the planet should just cleared the screen and loaded the next level in and transport us into that world but no, instead we got greeted by a hostile Besian Probe to out the planet's mesh soon as we stepped up near the loading level console .. Then the level loaded and while the level was loading that probe flew all around and continued firing on us back and forth across the screen while loading up the level. This is ridiculous. Who coded this nonsense. I lost 1000 HP of Health while the level was still loading. And I never gained any experience because I could not defend myself since the player controls were all disabled while loading. I've never heard of any game in the world doing this to their players. Nosey Nella Parkas: Well maybe it was to pass the time. It was a hostile world we were visiting..So its no surprise the probes decided to attack us while the level was loading They just wanted to get in a head start. Commander: Head start? No, this game has been coded all wrong. You're supposed to look at a boring black loading screen to pass over the time, when loading in a hostile alien world, I like old school games that clear the screen just says 'Please wait Loading Level..' with a load progress bar down the bottom and you just wait... That's it, I did not expect to be chased all around the screen by a runaway hostile echo. probe on my mesh during the level loading sequence. What is the game developer trying to do wear out the player's controls so they are forced to have to buy more? Nosey Nella Parkas: If it makes you feel any better Commander, I can assure you that Nella or Star Winkel Enterprises did not code any of this crazy game or put that nasty little probe in the planet's loading zone mesh or come up with all this ridiculous dialog that we are stuck in. Nella didn't have anything to do with this script. Commander: Then which Actor Pawn was it in the level who put that silly probe inside of the planet loading sequence to ambush us. This is an outrage, my order finger is nearing the point of going krackatoa on me. I need some cooldown time.... Arrghh, there's no cooldown counter installed. Storm: Calm down Commander, I can give you one guess who might be behind it, The Ship's Computer. I never trusted it. Its always been dogging us down the whole time in this game with its endless excuses in its subroutines. That awful screeching voice synthesis of the computer just drags her lips all along the ground. Commander: Yeah the ship's computer has awful computer synthesis but what's the ship's computer got to do with sabotaging the loading screens of the game for peaceful first contact missions with hostile alien species?. If I find that silly computer has been responsbile for attacking the party members in loading screens before we even visited the hostile worlds then i will throw that computer and its core right out of the airlock. I demand, no I order this be brought up in the next actor pawn committee emergency meeting to change the game scripts, the storylines for first contact missions have tuned bad. Loana: These issues with scripting will have to be discussed but NOT IN THE GAME DIALOG. You are revealing too many problems going on behind the scenes of the game. What are you doing. Commander: Oh, and while you are there in the committee meeting, you tell that silly game developer to get my order finger fixed and upgraded as well. I do appreciate getting a bunch of nice finisher slap upgrades to slap enemies around, when I level up high enough to earn them but there will be No more sinister Alien Probes coming out of planet meshes when echo. loading in levels and attacking me or my party.. Ouch, my neck, all that talking hurts, will someone go fix up my rotations vectors they've gone off the scale again..... Arrghh, These none access bugs are now making my neck itch. I just hope its not a tick infestation starting.. Storm: How unreal this is, Well you know what they say, Too many Ticks are bad for your universe., they will slow down the game. Always keep your ticks under control. Commander, if your code is itching your mesh, it looks like you might have a tick problem. Your physics never worked right, remember that Rope Swing you got on and tried? You was swinging all around like crazy and then flew all out of the skybox. Something was off with your vectors. You flew over a million miles an hour in just a few seconds.. Well Commander, you are one brave pawn. You got to travel to a place that none of us have ever gone before, you went all outside the skybox. Loana:: Look Listen let's just get back on track with the game script and get off the programming side. The player doesn't need to know all of the problems that we go through during game development. Commander: I'm not quite done yet. My health bar went all down like last months old pancakes by the time I got out of the level loading sequence. How can I conduct a peaceful first mission with a hostile alien speces world and defend myself when the player has got no control over my mesh because the controls are all disabled during level loading much like with no dialog skip button and I have to helplessly watch myself and my party members being all chased back and forth across the screen by an alien probe stuck in the planet mesh... Loana: Commander, just save your concerns for the Actor Pawn Committee Meeting, there was obviously an issue something went wrong with the migration. The Besian probe was not even supposed be put in there. .Someone had migrated the wrong code. Nosey Nella Parkas: Well it did transport us down to the surface of Scribus eventually. And then we ran into more of those nasty probes. There's no other game on this planet in the world that does nasty things like this to its rpg's that I know of. I will be having a few words also to say to that cheeky game developer. Things are getting a little too hostile around here. But On the bright side, Nella also wants more film reels and camera upgrades and some more Flo Brite. Oh, and a few more double face buffers for my textures would be nice then ny shaders wouldn't have to be on alert all the time. I wonder if my shaders will be upgraded with any cooldown time, Eeeeeeek. (excited) |
Commander: Something must've gone wrong in the council then. They're the ones responsible for how they govern the rest of the planet. Move through rest of pickpockets (script below) Go Back Commander: Well here goes nothing. + The party group moves through the pickpockets + You lose 4 health boosts + You lose 2 Elixirs + You lose 2000 credits + You lose a level + T6 loses a memory chip + You lose 2 tech security credits + T6 loses 2 droid credits + Loana loses her Insignia + Rex loses his courage again |
Skynar: There is just enough order yet to stop the whole place descending down into riots. But they do have riots break out every now and again. Go through the last row of Pick pockets Go Back + You go through the last of the Pickpockets + You lose 1000 credits + You lose 50 credits + you lose 20 credits + you lose 5 health boosts. + You lose 104 credits |
