+ Inside the Shuttle with Commander Telskan
Commander Telskan: Have I had my ship pulled into the plasma Clouds? Yes, once I had an incident a close call with a plasma stream burst that came up from the surface but managed to escape. But after that I'm not willing to take the chance to go extra low anymore so we will keep the ship at a safe height away from them and just observe from up here what is going on with the clouds while I take the latest readings from the star.

Commander Telskan: We store it in energy cubes and use half the energy for running our station to keep it within in its orbit within the corona of the star and the other half we sell as Energy Cubes which we distribute out to a vendor on the Tsala Homeworld so others can run their ships or their space stations also for longer periods of time. We do make a bit of a profit on that to help with maintenance costs on the station.
|
Commander Telskan: Because its a dangerous job mining the energy out from the swirling plasma clouds this is why we have to monitor the star constantly for any signs of instability. We are mining at the moment because the star is in a stable state but on some days the star is not as stable and has violent storms and on those days we avoid going down and doing the mining because under those conditions its just too dangerous.
|
Commander Telskan: It is profitable enough and suits what we are doing on the station. We are not sure how long this mining can go on for but at the moment the star is stable enough for us to do the mining so we might as well take advantage of the opportunity. But if you want to buy cubes from us we will have to talk with your ship engineer guy.
