Computer: According to the Gori database, a Mish Nasher is a vicious wild beast that dwells out in the hills and mountain areas but occasionally comes down to the valley area. There are apparently a hundred or so of them in those areas and probably more. i hope you got enough room to transport them Commander. Oh and ask them kindly to clean up after themselves when they are done. i don't want the ship being left in a mess.

T6 Unit: So this is Gori, Oooh, what pretty plants. Scanning, hmm seems to have unusual metallic compounds in it. What happened to this planet. I am detecting metallic compounds in all of these plants. They are no longer living. But they are not decaying either. Something has frozen them. T6 says this is not normal. It does not fall within accepted parameters.

Take a piece of the petrified plant (script down below)
Go left
Go Right
Head into cave markings on the other side
Head towards strange looking tree
Go back to the Ship
+ You obtain a sample of the plant.
Doctor Thompson: Hear you loud and clear Commander. A Sample specimen, Bring it back on board with you to the sick bay area and i will take a look at it. Petrified. Hmm. that's most unsual. Are you sure you are safe. We don't want you to be petrified. I will go check the ship database to find out more about this planet or its wildlife to see if there is any creature that could have caused this to the plants.

Computer: Oh I know the answer to that already. You don't need to go to that grubby little droid to get answers. The Flimas Beast has a petrifying element within its skin secretions. You don't want to go near it unless you have an anti-petrifying suit, otherwise you will end up like the plants. Gori is not your normal planet.

Computer: Up In the caves and in the hills in the east of the mountains. Sometimes they come down from the east and spread out down to the plants in the west and that's why the plants are all petrified. It usually lasts a few days before it wears off and the plants return back to normal again, I don't know about ship crew members however, that area
echo. is unknown, just make sure you don't get to close to the Flimas Beast to be on the safe side if you have no anti petrifying suits. And according to my scans, you have none in your posssesion. |
Computer: Oh you know the drill you have to go see a Gori Vendor trader to buy one, oh don't think about going to Lindsey, he won't beable to help you, its out of his league. He dosen't specialize in anti-petrifying suits. But the Gori do. The Gori treat the Flimas Beast as a local wildlife pest. Their way to deal with the situation is to wear the suits. The Flimsa Beasts come out once a week out of their caves. That's why the next day the plants become petrified and they remain in that suspended state for a few days. |
