Orange Megallanc Cloud Area 2
T6 unit: Skynar needs to slow down in this area so the ship can make the maneuvers around the rocks. Scanning area... I calculate that about 30 percent of the rocks are already in motion in this area. Caution is advised. Visual range will be limited as half the asteroid belt is hidden in the clouds. This is why this area is dangerous to any ships entering into it.

William Smith: Uh Oh, he might not have enough time to clear it. Commander, this is really risky what hes trying to do. I don't like his chances. He needs to gather more speed to clear it in time. The ship is responding too slow. Arghh, I'm starting to sound like T6 now. Well start praying and hoping he makes the turn in time.

T6 Unit: I calculate that you have a 1 in 5 chance of making it through to the Nowhere Boids Asteroid Field without damaging the ship. But getting back again is going to be another story. You have a 1 in 50 chance of damaging the ship on the way back. However, if you upgrade the scanners then come back, you will be able to see all the rocks this outdated computer will beable to plot the course safely around them.

Computer:Arrghh I hate it when that little droid is right. These scanners I currently have can only detect a limit ranges of sound waves. Warning, now detecting bad wav files with LF signatures being ejected out from the dark asteroid. So it looks like I can detect something, a bunch of bad sound waves. I may not beable to detect the Low Frequency sound but I can certainly detect the bad signature in the file. |
T6 Unit: Correct, when the asteroids move they make harmonic tremors, the dark asteroids that is. As you get closer to the Boids Asteroid Field, you encounter the dark asteroids on the outer barrier of the belt. After that everything will be fine. For your useless information, T6 is busy currently keeping up to date with all 97,371 moving asteroids.

Janice Worse For Wear: Warning, Commander, am detecting an usual energy signature but its all distorted... It is heading our way. It is coming from one of the dark asteroids. its a bad Wav file with invalid null pointers in it and its heading our way. Set the ship frequency to what T6 instructs Ignore the droid and trust in your best judgement Go back |
Commander: All this trouble over some corrupt wav files. Very well. Set our frequency chanel to 15F. Let's hope there are no corrupt data structures are lurking out there either. I don't trust this computer generated world.. Skynar, do a scan check, are there any none access bugs lurking around or any corrupt arrays that could bring the universe to a halt...
|
Commander: Neither have I Loana so maybe its a giant dark asteroid for all we know. Dim the lights down as the droid instructs Leave the lights in the ship on and take the risk Turn back Explore the area |
