Computer: Well of course my scanners are playing up with all this thick interstellar dust and interference, that's why I said you only have visual range. When we were outside the range of the nebula, I could get a better scan, but now we're inside it, I cannot scan very far at all.

Skinar: This is just getting a little too close for comfort. Commander, don't you think we should be thinking about upgrading our shielding in case we run into more of thse ugly thugs out here in this region of space? We may run into ships that have stronger shielding than what we have now, and we don't want to wind up in that situation. |

Commander: Skinar, how many times are you going to moan at me to upgrade shields. |

Skinar: UNTIL YOU GET AROUND TO UPGRADING THEM. It is risky going around space with low shielding. You be lucky that Starlight Winkel hasn't made a story out of this kind of embarassment. |

Skinar: I mean not upgrading the shielding when it needs to be really upgraded. It can put us into alot of trouble out here in this part of space. Don't invite trouble, that's all I have to say to you about this. We need to get out of this nebula and get the ship to a safe place.. |
